   Nilst2006 has made a wise decision!
   
   Anyone who doesn't know enough to know/find out why a recovery toolkit may legitimately contain programs security applications may flag as riskware doesn't know enough to safely use a toolkit like this.

   Programs detected in the Riskware category are not directly malicious, but are often used in conjunction with Malware. This is why the a-squared scanner detects them too.
   
   Programs which are classified as Riskware can be:

   Commercial monitoring tools
   Proxy servers
   Password recovery tools
   Commercial remote control tools
   FTP servers
   Telnet servers
   Webservers
   Other tools which are built to kill processes, hide windows or read system internals automatically.
   
   So riskware is like a knife - can be a legitimate tool, but some people use it maliciously, so security programs flag it to let you decide if it's safe in the context in which it appears!
   
   I'm downloading Pure MHz Software Toolkit because the list of programs looks like a fantastic starting point for a personalised toolkit, and I ain't scared of legitimate riskware.

   very similar to my own personal recovery toolkit CD...
   
   there's one or two things here that i'd like to incorporate into my own but apart from that its of no use to me...
   
   usefull for those who don't bother making a personal one of these for themselves!

   Yeah, take with a grain of salt spyware negative positives-- just the compression method used can trigger a positive...they just arbirarily assume that since most spyware uses a certain method, then the innocent app must be evil...same faulty analogy re crime & minorities: most street level crime commited by minorities, ergo most minorities must be bad.
