There's a need for a portable and safe browser. this might be it. So far it looks alright. I love Firefox but sometimes you need a webbrowser - quick and portable. I wish it was a bit smaller in size, though and more "polished", but hey - you can't have everything, especially for free.

Works quite well, I have been using it for better than a year now, primarily for known unsafe territory.
Seems impervious to malware-no guarantees though!!
Has AD blocking, super adjustable referrer, search box and lots more.
I have my bookmarks as a sidebar within the browser.
    It can also auto-fill logins.
Can be downloaded as an installer, standalone exe and no-install usb zip.

    What a piece of crap!!!

The perfect example of what K-meleon should never become (know what I mean...?), what with the toolbars that can be unanchored, but never anchored again, and overlaid over each other so as to become unusable... The interface being what it is, I tried it for a couple minutes and shed it for good. Sorry guys, but K-meleon was (is?) the real thing. This one is a pale copy, and though it is fast and has small footprint, it's not enough for me.

Too bad you can't give a zero-star rating...

It is a standalone exe of 4.92 MB, but does need it's own folder for the settings and cache folders it creates. I must say it works quite nicely. Keeper
    Now updated to v3001
Only bug I see is DON'T use the cleanup button in the down mgr unless u have moved/copied them from the original location. Even downs in progress will be deleted -permanently! Some sites in this browser do not allow using the autotype feature in Password Safe. minor
