This really is an excellent program and I think its unfair of people to be criticizing a freeware program. I've used it since version 1.5 and scanned it for viruses and trojans through multiple online scanners and found nothing. Not much has changed in version 2.0. I would still like to see a screen after reboot comparing the before and after defrag.

Potential VIRUS ALERT:
Avast Antivirus 4.8.1201 (Home Edition) software tells me that QuickSys 1.5 portable as downloaded from "http://www.regdefrag.com/QRegDefrag.zip" has a worm virus in "qsdkf.dll\[UPX]" of type "Win32:Downloader-BMI", VPS version: "080726-0 (July 26, 2008)".
Prior to this alert, I have used this software as a USB portable freeware application without any issues. It works well.
I submitted a notice to QuickSys about this VIRUS ALERT in their feedback form.

I just scanned it at VirusTotal.com and Virusscan.Jotti.org and they both found NOTHING. That's over 20 different scanners, so whatever your problem is it's not the program. RegDefrag is an excellent program and it's best feature is the visual display of the registry structure so you can see the fragmentation level of the registry. Unlike NETREGOPT it doesn't screw up my computer on restart. The only downside is that you have to configure the info.ini file for the English language and set the Program Files path. It defaults to portuguese on start. It would be nice if it had a screen pop up on restart that shows you the before and after visuals and the percentage gain. Keep up the good work.
