The GUI could be improved, but it's not as bad as ssb makes it out to be. It's the best of the genre, or at least the best I came across. I have some sort of mental block when it comes to regexes, so I need all the help I can get.

I still wonder what is the best possible rating for this program. It's the best regular expressions evaluator ever seen but also one of the worst designed applications. RegexBuddy GUI looks like being designed by a ten years old kid. That's not a surprise; Jan Goyvaerts, RegexBuddy author, is known for some of the worst designed applications (HelpScribble, PowerGrep etc). Despite its awfull GUI, RegexBuddy is an excellent and highly recommended tool.
