    Why even get this? HDD Health (www.pantersoft.com) is free for non-commercial use.

    Unfortunately, none of the S.M.A.R.T. monitoring tools appear to support external USB 2.0 hard drives, which is a disappointment, I have several.

    Looks like they just released this as Active SMART released their upgrade ;)

    Of course this is a piece of crap. If you are actually going to buy a SMART program then you might as well as go in for Active SMART.
