Samurai is a host-based intrusion prevention system. It repairs all of the major flaws known to exist in Microsoft Windows operating systems. Unlike signature-based protection, this repairs the problem, so that all attacks capitalizing on a specific vulnerability are stopped, not just attacks with known signatures.

update to my last post.....this software is so bad i had to re-format the drive....thank god it was my second machine or much data would have been lost...cannot stress how bad this MALWARE is..AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!

MALWARE....THIS PROGRAM WAS WRITTEN BY HACKERS SO FAR AS I CAN TELL....IT LOCKS UP THE PC AS SAID ABOVE...BUT THEN IT ALSO REMOVES MANY SECURITY SETTINGS(SUCH AS RESTRICTED SITES LIST) AS WELL AS DISSABLING HARDWARE ACCELLERQATION(DIRECT X) IT USES GROUP POLICY TO UNSECURE IE'S SECURITY SETTINGS....JEEZ BETA NEWS CANT YOU KEEP CRAP LIKE THIS OFF YOUR SITE....O..IT ALSO APPEARS TO HIJACK INTERNET CONNECTION SO PROBABLY HAS A RAT INSIDE(REMOTE ACCESS TROJAN) B E T A N E W S U SHOULD HANG YOUR HEADS IN SHAME....!!!!!

This thing killed my PC (winxpx64) everytime i booted into windows (just after explorer started) it locked the whole PC up. I started it in safe mode and it kept restarting. Finally i managed to open taskmgr and launched MS config - from here i removed the samurai service and the entry in the startup tab.
Problem fixed :) if this program is supposed to stop security holes then it does a good job as you wont be able to get onto your PC in the first place to be put at risk 1/5

Haven't tried it yet since Im testing this bloated Vista crap, but I'm bookmarking it for later...
