Sawmill is a powerful, hierarchical log analysis tool. It is particularly well suited to Web server access and referrer logs, but can process almost any log. The reports that Sawmill generates are hierarchical, attractive, and heavily crosslinked for easy navigation.
Reviewing 7.2.3 (Jan 5, 2007)
7.2.8 has been out since november:

Great log parser, even allows import into your own database for personalised queries.
Reviewing 6.5 Beta 5 (Jul 22, 2003)
Sawmill is a great, affordable stats package. It will read just about ANY log file. It also does nothing to your log files so if the stats database does indeed become corrupted you simply rebuild the stats. Compared to the cost of a WebTrends license this is a great deal.
Reviewing 6.4 Beta 1 (Aug 14, 2002)
Sawmill is great at displaying info from your sites.
BUT it is also great at losing all your built up stats and making you start over from the bugining with no stats history.
