Server Monitor is a system management tool that continuously monitors server availability and performance. In the event of network errors, Server Monitor can alert the network administrator before problems get out of hand. Server Monitor can also run external programs or batch files based on server events, such as a server going down or waking up, and log server events to a log file.

Beyond a system you install, there are many web based clients you can use to perform system monitoring from outside the firewall. To see a server monitor review and comparison grid, visit the following site: http://www.serverwebmonitor.com
Reviewing 2.6 (Oct 12, 2001)
I'm a network administrator and this app makes my life so much easier. I know if we have a fault and can fix it before most of my users even knew there was a problem.
Reviewing 2.5 Beta (Jul 16, 2001)
