Silverjuke is more than a music-player which works as easily as a classical jukebox: Just select what you want to hear next, that's it. It has lots of other features: Music tracks will be sorted and piled automatically as complete albums, covers will be displayed if available. Multiple selection and editing, powerfull search and playlist handling, wide support for audio-codecs, effects, visualizations and the kiosk mode, just to mention a few.

- More options for adding credits by shortcuts (see "Settings/Kiosk mode/Credit system"); if you have used the "+5" shortcut before, you have to redefine it

- All cursor and workspace shortcuts can be changed at "Advanced/Further options" now, adding targets for pagination to the skin engine

- Less flickering on object dragging and on dialog resizing

- The font defined at "Settings/View" can now also be used for the popup-menus; see "Settings/Advanced/Further options/Menus: Use 'view' font"

- Further changes:

- New command line options --volup, --voldown and --togglevis

- New command line parameter "--kioskrect"; this can be used to let Silverjuke only use some parts of the screen in kiosk mode

- tag added to the skin engine

- New option in the playback context menu: "More from current album/artist"

- Added amazon.com and jpc.de to the german cover search (thanks to timewind) and lyricwiki.org to the lyrics search

- Reading (ID3-)tags can be disabled per source at "My music library/Source options"

- Some optimizations make the database about 15% smaller; as the cache is better used for this reason, this also results in some speed improvements, eg. on search

- The pages "Buy", "Language" and "Further options" are grouped under "Settings/Advanced" now; module settings are available at "Further options"

- If the tag information is read from the file name, we now allow the character "." there; however, the last point always introduces the file extension

- All searches are switched off before changing tag data that may affect the sorting and before a database update

A powerful program,dont misjudge it by its minimalist looks because it packs a lot of customization and options in some very cleverly designed menus. Audio quality wise it uses the excellent BASS engine for superb digital audio reproduction,this not an exaggeration,i can guarantee that you'll hear the difference. Silverjuke has an minimalist,elegant and practical interface,an audio engine that delivers,plenty of customization and scripting options,can work in jukebox mode,the best cover art view, and simply works fast and stable. You'll love it and i bet it will replace your Itunes or Winamp install in some time of use.

Highly recommended shareware.
