What happened to you guys? The last i heard was the whole mantis project and then poof..gone..

this player just needs work and some skins to manage content better.this was always a fun program and had some great visual plugins ..

It's simply too slow to load up my playlist. I have playlists which are 7000+ files long, and it takes literaly 10 minutes to load up the list. Winamp is much faste (~3 minutes each time I decide to refresh the list)

I have been looking all over for decent MOD players (PC too old to handle lots of MP3s), and let me just say that, even though Sonique handles SOME of the basic MOD formats (IT, XM, etc) it isn't a wonderful MOD player at all. I will stick with MODPlug or XMPlay for MOD playing. You figure something this large would at least provide accurate playback synthesis! NOPE!

Unless you're running your pc through a decent amp and speakers then you wont notice any sound difference no matter which player you use. its a good player, pretty easy to use, but not as easy as winamp, and it uses more resources.

I'm sorry but I don't care what the player looks like, the skins are a waste of resources.
