The operation is easy and the interface is friendly. It includes over 80 cool configurable effects. Multibytes language (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc.) text is supported. The most unique feature is the ability to import SWF movies with intelligent motion analysis and full action support. The imported movie will be easily modified and generated back to new SWF movie with almost all functions of the original movie. A GUI ActionScript generator can help the author inputting simple action scripts, such as jump to special frame, add link and load movie, etc. It will be especially helpful if the author is not a programmer.

I am a SWiSHMax user -- I registered the software.

From my evaluation of Sothink SWF Quicker - the first thing that was noticeable is that the interface was much more polished than SWiSH. The menus and menu icons are very nice, very modern and overall, the interface leaves you with a much greater area to work with.

Upon opening, a Wizard greets you asking if you would like to create an album, banner, navigation buttons, and slide show -- or blank document. This is a wonderful feature that will enable Sothink to market this product to novices -- and I mean novices. SWiSH novices have to have a little direction to get anything done =).

Sothink includes a handful of effects, much better than SWiSH 2.0, but not on par with SWiSHMax.

Sothink also supports ActionScript -- which Flash users will feel at home with -- SWiSH uses it's own scripting language - Swish Script. As an avid SWiSHMax user, I feel that I will have to bite the bullet and start unlearning some things progressively to figure this one out.

Sothink SWF --WILL-- import MPG, WMV, and other video/audio formats -- a feature not offered within SWiSHMax, and only available in SWiSHVideo - a separate program. I tested the compression on a 4.58MB WMV file and it generated a 2.5MB Flash file. I'm very impressed. The default compression settings on SWiSHVideo do a poor job of compression video to an agreeable download size.

When you look at the price tag for SoThink -- $49.99 vs. SWiSHMax at $99.99 + SWiSHVideo at $49.99, Sothink SWF is 1/3 of the price.

So, at this point, I will continue to use SWiSHMax because I'm pretty dangerous in SWiSHMax -- but I will continue to watch this product closely and toy with it until I'm comfortable with it. It just feels so much more stable, properly designed, and looks to have more potential.

I'm definately rating it 5/5. Whether I will replace SWiSH with this is anyone's guess -- I feel that I would like to as this is just a wonderful application.
