Reviewing 8 Final (Oct 3, 2005)
This has a somehow more straight forward interface, designed for most ease of use - compared to Open Office, though the new RC1 edition of O.O. has MUCH approved in that department.
I wonder why they show a snap of Version 7 here - ?!?

Rip-off of open source? I don't think so, follow the history of this and openoffice.org a little closer to see your error.
All in all, not bad, very complete, but too slow.
Reviewing 8 Final (Oct 3, 2005)
I find this considerably easier to use than OpenOffice, but not enough for me to willingly pay for it.
Also, the java dependency of this program is just plain horrible...it makes it primarily slow...
Besides, its just a ripoff of Open Source...
I wouldnt get this if I won the lottery...
Reviewing 8 Beta (Feb 22, 2005)
I like where this is going. Much better interface with the removal of the toolbar on the right side of the screen. A good alternative to office at little or no cost. (Education version is free. Or it at least was with 7.)
Reviewing 8 Beta (Feb 22, 2005)
I like it. The BETA is really a big step forward. It stille nowhere near as elegant as MS Office 2003, but I like what I see.
