Mike Lin's program doesn't work properly any more. It ignores new parts of the registry in XP, it's too easy to click through an alert by accideent, doesnt monitor services (very very important these days imho) and doesn't work on Vista at all. And why is 420k bloated? are you still using your Windows 3.1 machine?
This program does everything it says, doesn't have any bugs I can see only takes about a meg of memory, actually gets updated more than once every 5yrs, and the programmer is very responsive to feedback and suggestions. Five stars.

Don't rate software down depending on the platform it was used to programming it. It's not the program's fault for using 20megs. It's .Net platform's fault. .NET greatly speeds up programming programs and maintainability for programmers. This allows these programmers to produce these freeware programs.

So far so good... LOL... You started it and it did nothing? Of course it did nothing... Try actually creating a registry key under HKCU or HKLM for "Run" commands and you'll see the program does exactly what it says it does... Will adjust my rating higher after a little more time using the app.
Update: Dropping my review to a 2. This application (as simple as it is) uses 20MB of memory. Obviously using .NET... 20MB is nuts for this type of app!
Update: At home this app uses a normal amount of memory... Will check whats going on at work... Might have to report a bug. Raising to 3 for now. :)
Update: I wish I could give a negative rating. I just found StartupMonitor using 1.4GB of memory on my home machine. At work the other day I found it was using over 150MB. You have a MASSIVE memory leak which makes this program worthless at the moment. Oh, and .NET makes non-programmers programmers who can bloat up machines in no time! HAHAHA...
