This is a WMCPL (Windows Media Center Presentation Layer) Application. As such, it requires Windows Media Center which only comes with the Home Premium and Ultimate Editions of Vista. Also, some transcoding features rely upon having CyberLink PowerDVD 7 installed. Publisher should make these dependencies clearer.

Don't know about the software itself as I was unable to install it. The BetaNews description says it is for Windows(all) but when trying to install it on XP I got this in a message box. "TV Toolbox can only be installed on Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium or Ultimate Edition."
