Windows 2000/2003/9x/XP / Freeware / 5,080 downloads

Tftpd32 includes DHCP, TFTP, SNTP and Syslog servers as well as a TFTP client. The TFTP client and server are compatible with TFTP option support (tsize, blocksize and timeout), which allows for faster data transfers. Some extended features such as directory facility, security tuning, interface filtering; progress bars and early acknowledgments enhance usefulness and throughput of the TFTP protocol for both client and server. And the included DHCP server provides automatic or static IP address assignment.

Got Cisco? Then get this, you'll love it, pure and simple.

I perform 100's of TFTP loads to nearly every conceivable network device every month and have been using this wonderful freeware tool for the job for 5+ years. The syslog and DHCP daemons are bonuses and work flawlessly, and in addition TFTPd32 is portable too.

A million thank you's to the developers for continuing to support this wonderful product. I've donated to their cause and if you use this product regularly, I urge you to do the same.

To 'boulderdrop' - dissing a piece of software because you don't know the diff between TFTP & FTP? Wow, really showing your intelligence with that complaint. Try FileZilla too, way better than BPFTP.

FYI: TFTP is not that same as FTP. It stands for Trival-FTP and is a really simplistic protocol for routers and things to download firmware. I guess it does that well. But I need a real FTP Server, sucks that I downloaded this. Back to BPFTP Server.

There may be a better tftp server out there somewhere, but I haven't found it yet. I used this one all the time for updating my cisco equipment.
