ToeTag lets you edit the tags in most popular music files. You can edit tags like artist, album, song name, etc., add or remove cover art, get song information on-line from the free tracktype.org server, use information from the filename to fill in tag data, organize your collection by renaming or moving files based on song tags, edit less common tags like composer, conductor, and more. It has advanced features like automating common tasks, intelligent song capitalization, a visual editor for extracting tags from the filename, ReplayGain support, and much more.
Reviewing 0.3.0 (Jul 15, 2008)
This will be a very nice tagger one day.
At the moment it is full of glitches and doesn't work well at all.
Many runtime errors are popping up.
The design is good however, intuitive and clean.
Hope this comes to something great.
Worth keeping an eye on.
Reviewing 0.2.0 Beta (May 20, 2008)
I think the competition has something to worry about. Not only faster then MP3Tag for mass editing, the directory browsing is a plus. Not bad for second beta release and it can only get better.
Reviewing 0.2.0 Beta (May 19, 2008)
the worst id3 tag editor ever!
Better stick with MP3Tag or TagScanner if I was you.
Reviewing 0.1 (Feb 29, 2008)
Pretty solid in my experience for a 0.1 release, and it has the directory browsing tree that MP3Tag so desperately lacks.
