TracePlus Web Detective is a trace/analysis tool specifically designed for Web development. The Web Detective decodes the HTTP protocol and displays it in an easy to understand format. The Web Detective now displays SSL transactions when you trace applications using the Win32 Internet API. HTTP protocol help is provided by a Windows help file which is hyperlinked to the Web Detective. The Web Detective provides performance analysis of Web pages and the objects requested by the pages. Features include verification of links on a page, and performance analysis of a specified Web site.

TracePlus/Web Detective (Spirent Edition) contains the same feature set as the eBusiness Edition, with the addition of a URL script generator which creates formatted scripts for Spirent Avalanche capacity assessment appliances, and TracePlus Script Editor, a full featured script editing application.
