Sounds and looks suspiciously like a fork of vlc player or smplayer

It has a utube search box built in. Just what I don't need. What I do. The ability to playback large mkv files it fails miserably at just like that stupid player vlc garbage everyone harps on. The sourceforge page has versions for different platforms as this download is nothing but an ip grabber as is the player itself more than likely. Oh yeah have you seen the amount of SPAM that sourceforge allows to be posted lately? Just because something says open source doesn't mean squat at least apparently not to sporeforge.
It's just another wrapper over mplayer folks. move along
    mplayer and utube LMAO
BTW. when I put an actual utube url in the player it did absolutely nothing.
Figured it might at least be good for that but sadly no.

Over 270 built-in Audio and Video codecs in 147 KB ?
Its not more, just only mailware virus.
