Ulead DVD MovieFactory makes turning your home movies into DVD movies an easy process, using your CD or DVD burner. It provides a simple wizard-style authoring workflow that allows you to author, burn, and play your videos. The program can automatically detect video scene changes and create chapter thumbnails for easy navigation. Burn your home movies as DVDs, VCDs, or SVCDs for playback on home DVD players or computers with DVD playback software.

The included Video ToolBox allows you to capture and trim video. The program also includes the ability to capture direct to disc, direct editing on RW media, tv recording, and more. Ready-to-go templates make it easy to create scene menus for easy DVD navigation.

    It's very very good. Not used any previous releases so I can't compare to them but it's much better than Nero 7 for compiling and writing DVD movies.

    Also supports HD DVD and BD which I'm looking forward to trying out as soon as I can get my hands on the drives.

    I own v4, and its incredible all the options that it has and the great menus that you can create for your DVD movies in just a few minutes!
