It is slightly misleading in advertising that it plays blu-rays. it does NOT play protected blu-rays. you have to have created your own unprotected blu rays for it to play them. it seems simple, and mildly easy to use (disappointing that I can't select that the source is a blu-ray and have it default to my blu-ray reader instead of the video folder).

I really like this player; it's a great add-on for Win8. This current version installs in German. You will have to change the language settings in the menus. So, in German, go to "Einstellungen" and choose "Sprache". Then choose the flag of your country and click on the OK button.

works VERY well, playback may be a LITTLE less smooth than Cyberlink, but at least it supports SPACE for pause/play! And it's playlist/index is far better for browsing blu-ray. Needs bookmarks though
