This has to be crap but I wouldn't know because it NEVER installed! I tried install it yesterday at 4PM and 24 hours later the icon is still spinning, saying that it is upgrading! I cannot uninstall it in order to re-install my Webroot 6.1, which I loved. I got numerous error codes and a box remains in the center of my screen, when offline, saying that it is installing a required patch for silverlight. I guess that I'm back in the market for something that I can at least USE!

This is the most POS software I have installed. Would not uninstall had to delete services and reg files by hand and it slowed my pc down to a halt.

I really like 6.1 and was excited to see how they might improve on it. Argggh! If this is what Webroot thinks is an improvement their nuts! I agree with other reviews, I hope they support 6.1 until my subscription expires. I was so disgusted, I installed AVG Free on the netbook that I had set up to test the 7.0 beta. Yes Webroot, I'm in the market for a new security suite.

If all it takes to impress you is 3D transparancies & mouse over displays, go for it. However, if you want to control the program or see what it's doing, your screwed! There is not even a way to prevent it from starting @ boot. Even if you remove it's start up entries it still loads av/firewall. The only way to kill it is to remove it! NOTICE: I didn't say uninstall it, you have to manually remove several files (look @ prefetch & root dir) and the webroot dir in programs folder to get rid of this piece of work.

I would not recomend even trying the beta to see what it is like, unless you have time to waste and are bored silly.
