WinAccelerator is a system utility that accelerates programs on your computer, manages tasks on your system, keeps your CPU cool, and more. It is best to use it with time consuming tasks like compression, encryption and so on. Acceleration will be best if there are many processes executing on your PC.

    Taskinfo 2000 has the same ability to change process priority, however this would be a better tool for a non-power user who is going to be overwhelmed by all the Info Taskinfo gives them. For those people who simply want to tell Program X that its now got more priority then everything else to speed it up (or to slow it down), this is a good choice.

    The new beta hasn't crashed yet, and I haven't uninstalled it yet :-) I'd like to see a preset list, where the program automatically sets the priority when its launched. Also, I wish this program looked better. The interface totally sucks right now. Dude, you don't make buttons act like tabbed dialog boxes, and you don't use Arial for all text, and that too in bold. Change all text to MS Sans Serif, size 10, regular. And get rid of that dumb "non standard" look feature. It's totally useless. I just can't think of any reason why ANYONE would want to skin a process priority adjustment tool !!!!!! Rated 2 because it didn't give me what I wanted *the way i wanted it*, but didn't crash like the last beta.

    Average : I would prefer more feedback as to what it has done before I am likely to recommend it to most users.

    You have to understand that the broader market are not power users. People like to know what they are donig!

    Explanation does not devalue your future potential, unless you have already reached it. ;-)

    Note to Jdallen on May 24th;

    You do understand that you are comparing two different kernels, don't you?

    An author basically has to write two different versions, if they want to write fast code, or they have to enter a compatibility constant. This is not always desirable, and may not even be possible with the early proof of concept.

    The kernal forms the core of an operating system's translation potential.

    Nice Idea, 0.9 won't install on Windows ME (beta 3) either.

    Good concept... i notice unpacking huge RARs moves along a little faster, and with the bug fixes it's a lot easier to work with. Keep it up :)
