WinAmp Lyrics Viewer Plus searches the LyricsHome.com database for the lyrics of a song being played in Winamp. If the song exists in the database, then it will be displayed by the application. Includes neat features like a lyrics requester, statics, and news. Also has Winamp audio controls right on the interface.

It's okay- but i'd rather use LyricAmp. It searches more databases, and can make a local DB on your computer so you don't always have to be connected to the internet to retrieve lyrics.

Well, you may be right and you may be wrong, but nowhere on the site does it say it will support a winamp plugin. You are either giving the site way too much credit for stuff it won't do or you are a lyrics fanboy.

Decent progie, but it's lyric database is tiny. songmeanings.net has over 8 thousands more artists, and nearly 100 thousand more lyrics, with an average of 1000 lyrics added daily. And after the new site update done, they are bringing their famed Winamp mini-browser plugin back, which allows you too view lyrics automaticly in your Winamp browser. I can't wait... it was the best of it's kind. And, with the new update to the site, they are making it so an artist's lyrics can be sorted by album's too. Once that's in place, it will be the best lyrics site on the net, hands down.

i have a large database of mp3's, i tested this program with stuff ranging from 80's music to marylin manson...it found id say about 80% of what i have played thus far, tho its database is more forgiving to rap or metal.
i think with time this will be a totally kick@$$ program

This program needs a LOT of work. Not the software itself, but the number of lyrics it displays. It only has 444 artists...half of the popular ones I typed in weren't there. When they can put in more time for this, I'll give it a higher rating.
