When it is a matter of choosing between WinBar or StatBar is the winner : WinBar, uses less CPU and has trackersupport so you can see highlights from sites that has trackersupport. Does anyone knows if there is another like StatBar and Winbar for windows available?I am using WinBar 1.2.95 beta a few years now with great satisfaction (Quicklaunch doesn't work in this version) but just curious..Thnx in advance.

Version 1's feature set is MUCH better right now IMHO. Wait 'til final release of ver. 2 later this year or download ver 1 -- it works fine on XP.

Not bad, but not even close to Samurize.

I would like to use it if I'd be able to move it over to my second screen :-/

Might be good, but can't cope with large fonts on a 1024 desktop on a 15" monitor, totally unreadable

I find this program incredibly useful, very easy to customize and graphically pleasing. The only real grief I have is this program is a bit heavy on the CPU / RAM usage, about the same as my AOL Instant Messanger. A great program but if you are scraping for every MB of RAM, you might want to look elsewhere..

This is a great program. I also think that there should be a second line so I can add the Quick Launch module and would like an Open Program module so I can hide the Windows Task Bar.

Hard to beleive it's a free application. You get a 5 out of 5!

Great job!

surfbum4fun, have you even downloaded and tried this program?! Apparently not. It has so many more features than the Windows Task Manager plus it shows it all in a very convenient tiny space at all times. I love this app. I get my news from it (too bad it doesn't support multiple trackers though), I can see when I need to clean my RAM, I can see when an app uses too much CPU and has a problem (explaining why a system gets slow sometimes), can see how my downloads are doing (speed), can easily and quickly adjust my volume, quickly see my IP etc. etc. I miss it a LOT when I'm on another system without WinBar! Very curious about the completely rewritten 2.0 version. Hope it comes out soon.

it's not a problem for me to discontinue this version. i've promised it a while ago because i had users wishing to share their cam on communities without having to buy a pro license however if now you dislike it, i'll simply discontinue this one and stop loosing time with it...

This is a good desktop tool. It'd be nice if you could add a second line of tools, as you can only use so many of the options at one time. Works fine though, on Windows Me, with a 700 mHz duron processor.
