Windows File Explorer is a file manager for Windows, similar to Windows Explorer. This uses a different approach: it features many options that Microsoft's Windows Explorer is missing like image preview and it has two fixed file views side by side (but can be change to a single file view) that is useful when copying many files from folder to folder.

Not that useful. I don't like dual pane anyway. I'd rather open up two windows and tab between them.
I prefer explorerxp mainly for its awesome ability to rename multiple files.

It doesn't really do anything except preview your photos. And the purpose of this app is?

Works alright, but not as good as others.
ExplorerXP is just a frontend!!!
Also, is that Britney Spears in the screenshot? Thats just sad...

Good, but IMHO TabExplorer, ExplorerXP or XPlorer are better alternatives.

I Don't know why people are complaining all the time (may bee another developer of similar program, I don't know).
I have used this software since 0.5.1 and have never seen a crash. The only problem I had with 0.5.3 is that selecting all files (using ctrl+a) was very slow, but that has been fixed in version 0.5.4
Now I'm only wait for more features

CRASH!!! Why don't software developers try new releases on their friends and relatives before unleashing it on the public? :(

The program looks very promising but sadly I was unable to get it to even start on my system. Got an error from the get go. Too bad.

Sounds very promising. I like the XP style support and the 3 pane style. Once it's is pretty stabilized, count on me as registered user.

Nice looking Explorer. Nice icons. Seems a bit unstable in XP. One problem that's a total stopper is in the "Thumbnail View", where the smaller thumbnails have a background that's different from the Window color. This makes ugly frames around the smaller icons. Ack! Need a few more options in the tools and views. It would be nice if one could click on the preview image and it would come up full screen, with space bar toggling through all pics in the folder at full screen. Hint hint. :)
