Publisher's Description
Windows Post-Install Wizard (WPI) is a hypertext application designed for giving users choice. While Windows XP offers many ways of customizing the setup process out of the box, its major drawback is the lack of being able to select which applications an end user may install. In the past, end users and administrators needed to either download the files manually, or create overly complex scripts that could only be used once. This allows you to create one image, which can then be custom configured, and optionally, automated, so that end users can install any applications that have been configured into WPI.

Lusono, you used the correct word and never even knew it. "Tool". P2P is a tool I and many others use and I think it's a wonderful one. I'm not lily white nor are most others but generally I believe we use it for good purposes.

I take exception to you saying that P2P is pure pirate. I use LimeWire and uTorrent to download Linux distributions every day. I have an iTunes account that I use for music. Your analysis is narrow minded. By using uTorrent for downloading Linux, I am also able to help out my fellow Linux enthusiast by sharing 'pieces' of the download - which underscores the brotherhood of Open Source and assistance.
On to WPI. I've used it - I like it. :-) Thank you for this program.

lusono would you stop obsessing over p2p?
WPI allows you to easily install many applications. You can choose which applications to install and/or add your own. For what it does WPI is very useful and its not meant to compete with or replace AutoPatcher.

I use RyanVM and nLite also. And a couple of DVD/CD burners. Maybe I should go outside and burn myself at the stake a minute.

Boy, somebody must have been listening to my review here of RyanVM's Windows XP Post-SP2 Update:

So, I'm off to slipstreaming XP with SP2, hotfixes and generic drivers, and using this WPI software to automate customizing the install at the end. So far so good. Only shame is all this stuff comes just as we're on the verge of another Windows upgrade. Jeez.
