If you want to use this program & others by this company just buy a single year licence, they also want to sort their business model, they ask you to register, you pay & yet they still bleat for donations for hosting costs.

The programs cleaned are also somwhat minimal, & not as comprehensive as CCleaner or BleachBit which are actually free & work without paying though if a program is worth its salt I feel it is fair to donate.

Wipe & other programs by this company though are very polished & stable programs, if they would just sort their customer service & be perhaps more upfront Wipe would get 5 stars.

Think on it privacyroot, what is legal & what keeps customers (happy & recommend you) are not necessarily the same.

Beware of buying a licence from this company. Two months ago I bought 2 full licenses for 2 years for version 2011, a few days ago it was upgraded to version 2012 this had few changes if any.

However - To use version 2012 it's necessarily to buy new licences - This is the first company I have had dealings with that are so rude & unhelpful. What is the point of buying a 2 year licence that don't even keep up with changes in browsers etc. I was told either use version 2011 - No longer updated or purchase version 2012…

I the end I told them to go forth & multiply, they are a scam 100% +...

Works really good for me. It doesn't seem adversely affect anything yet cleans fast and thoroughly. Perhaps they have fixed some issues with it in this latest release.

Crippleware. Most Wipe features are in the better organized and better designed CCleaner but worst is the one redeeming feature is only available in the paid version, namely that found in Eraser of randomly rewriting deleted filenames on secure delete (Free Wipe overwrites deleted file contents but leaves deleted filenames, Paid Wipe randomly rewrites filenames and overwrites file contents). For an app named Wipe I consider that deceptive, which misleads into a false sense of security.

This was terrible. All that I get is the splash screen, I let it sit for 10 minutes, then finally have to kill the program via task manager. I am a CCLEANER user at heart, but thought I would give this "Wipe" a try.
