Wonko's Uptime Client is a Windows client for the Uptimes.net project. It runs in the system tray or as an NT service and sends system uptime data to the uptimes.net server at regular intervals. It will also tell you your system's uptime.
- Client now properly detects Windows .NET Server and reports the service pack number (if any) along with the OS version
- More informative error message when PDH objects can't be loaded
- Less intrusive error message when a connection to the server can't be made

Wrong. Uptimes.net still allows Windows NT and Windows 2000 machines to participate. Windows 95, 98, and ME, however, are not allowed. Please make sure your information is correct before you post something and mislead people.

According to uptimes.net, this service has been canceled for Windows users because of Windows being used as a desktop, not a server.

Also notice this is an honesty project. The protocol is open source, so geez, do it for fun and don't cheat. Also, win 9x has been removed from the project as the guy says they don't stay up long enough to worry about :)

Come on dude! #1 client runs Win98??? And has been running it (without reboots) for 5 years?????
Win98 HASN'T been out for 5 years!!! Even if he did go to the future and get Win98 CD he'd still have to reboot it once since Win98 freezes after 180 days and patch needs a reboot.
Your protocol/database has been cracked, bro.
