I've been using the Pro version of WordWeb for years. Wildcard searches are very handy when writing. Overall, very, very handy. The new lookup-from-any-application feature is wonderful. In short, the free version is nice, but for writers or people serious about building vocabulary, the Pro version is well worth it.

I think the best free dictionary available in the market. You can select the word and press the shortcut key for quick definition access. This is one of those rare free dictionaries that also have pronunciation.
