    A superb viewer. I have checked a few including Irfanview and while both are excellent I prefer XNView.

    Many of the "problems" that cause people to lower their grades for this program, can easily be solved by changing the configuration. One of XNViews strongest sides is its flexible and powerful configuration, but one has to invest some time choosing the ones that match you preferences.

    Excellent pic viewer. Probably the best with irfanview.

    Like another user said below, it could use a speed boost dealing with RAW + CR2 (canon raw) formats.

    irfanview handles them so much faster!

    I really do love XnView for it's power, simplicity and speed BUT, it's speed is reduced to a stand still when dealing with RAW images.

    I'm also still holding my breath for better keyboard/wheel shortcut options

    I really like it BUT there is 1 really annoying thing about it, it uses regular keys as function shortcuts, so you can not click a starting key to jump to the first filename beginning with it, really clumsy IMHO.
