This is ridiculous. Less functionality than a toolbar in a browser, far more machine and desktop clutter, 190Mb on the drive and 128Mb running (just the .exe! ). There can only be 1 reason for producing such bloated rubbish - to get their noses onto your desktop and into your machine.
Don't waste resources on this just use Fox with email plugins maintaining control and simplicity.

I have to say I like this a lot, it moves faster then any of the other mail clients I have tried and have had no errors at all.

Its very smooth navigating from one area to the next, its constantly runs in the background and I don't notice any issue with slowdown.

I am currently running this on Vista 32 bit 3 Gb RAM amd x2 6000 witha nvidia 8600 gt 256 MB card

Just to add a little bit of objectivity, installation took 2 minutes and 15 seconds. Setup for one Yahoo mail account took 1 minute and 30 seconds. I have a 1.8 GHz Intel Dual Core laptop.

The Good = Yahoo Mail for the desktop. Unlike the online version, consistent UI across all modules -- mail, calendar, tasks, notes, etc.

The Bad = Although it syncs email, it does not automatically sync your Yahoo calendar, tasks, notes, or contacts. Could not find any options for doing so either.

The Ugly = Busy busy interface, hard to find stuff, and popup error messages that make no sense.

my first thought was: big download... but then when the installer ran it needed 158mb on the hard drive I realised that this was going to be a bit bloaty.

Installation seemed to take forever, but once it was done, it started quite well... about as fast as thunderbird does when run from my usb stick..

It looks nice, and is easy to set up. I like the addition of aol mail and google mail (although I only use the latter).

The application initially looks like yahoo mail online, which isn't bad - looks a bit too cluttered IMHO, but it works.

Sadly (but to be expected) doesn't support google calendar (ok they're a rival and yahoo have their own calendar, but they do support gmail!)

bit too big and bloated for my needs and as I'm more a google mail & calendar person (with a yahoo mail account) it didn't really match my needs enough to want to keep it installed.

    certainly got promise though.
