It's getting better... although it is still lacking some of the features of the Windows version, it is infinitely better than the version that I tried only 9 months ago, when it didn't look much better than the Java version and didn't even support emoticons, fonts, bold/italic/underline/colors, conferencing, or very much other than one-on-one chat with plain ordinary text. Previously, I had to use other Yahoo-compatible messengers that weren't much better but at least supported conferencing and sometimes even colors and fonts. With the last couple of official releases from Yahoo, they are finally making LEAPS toward the functionality that is present in the Windows version. Maybe another release or two, and we'll have video and all the rest. Keep it coming, Yahoo... there are some of us using Linux who also need to use your Messenger.
