Yapbam (Yet Another Personal Bank Account Manager) is an open-source personal bank account manager. You can easily import your bank transactions from your previous account manager or from your bank online statements to Yapbam. It helps you to quickly enter your transactions with its entry wizard. It automatically generates your periodical transactions (salary, taxes, etc.). Yapbam builds your account's balance history and throws alerts when it becomes negative. Yapbam creates instantaneously budget view and category-wise charts of your expenses. At last, Yapbam provide you with a currency converter connected through the Internet to the official ECB (European Central Bank) rates.

Tried this and found it a bit confusing in what to do first. Migrated from MS Money to Quckent to AceMoney...Tried GNUCash and now Yapbam. I understand the basics of double entry but would be nice if there was a "do this in sequence" tutorial to get the flow of things..

Took a look at this offering, a bit confusing layout and had difficulty trying to set up a simple checking account...not very intuitive in MYHO..

Took a look at the screen shots and I'd like to see a running balance and recurring charges against account to see past, present, future charges/deposits against the account for budgeting purposes and see when account will become negative (red) if I don't deposit additional funds.
