burst! is a new client for the BitTorrent network. It uses a modified version of the original python client as the back-end, and replaces the front-end with a native Win32 application. It uses less system resources (with multiple transfers), and has more features then the other clients.
- Totally new transfer engine, almost completely rewritten
- New Transfer Profile support, for grouping together favorite settings
- New Logging and Statistical capabilities
- New Queue system with auto-close and ratio maintaining features
- Cleaner more powerful GUI

and the oldschool client marches on ... all of the other ones were horrible and had far too many bugs .
this and bitspirit were the only ones worth downloading . i dont care for all of the bloat and functions bitspirit has , though . this is straight to the point and works . thats all i needed ..

This new version is really nice, but I personally think there are better alternatives like the Java-based Azureus.
Reviewing RC5d (Nov 2, 2003)
Would like more of a GUI, but It it's pretty good all the same. This version has been out for a while BTW.

DOES the job! Isn't bloated, is simple and don't crash that often like others do.
I am told by the author that it is intentional for brute-force attempts to be limited to 14 characters (because of the infeasibility of brutsexy costumessexy Lingerieforce attacks on relatively long passwords). But it still shouldn't pop up and tell you that it accepts lengths up to 255.
