eBay Toolbar is a helpful tool for eBay buyers that keeps track of the items you've bid on and those you're watching. It alerts you before those auctions end so you can place a bid if you'd like. It could mean the difference between forgetting to bid and winning the auction.

This toolbar is a "glorified piece of crap" as one user put it.This is nothing more than yet another attempt by eBay to monitor, store, and track your every move.A total invasion of privacy!I can assure you from the second I installed that bar it was as if I had a shadow following behind me spying on my every search query and better yet check this out...I love to snipe, and rarely lose, but somehow, mysteriously,I,the professional sniper was outbid on 28 out of 30 auctions in a 5 second delay,in the middle of the night! And better yet,1/2 of the auctions won by the same phantom bidder with a "oh my god" a PRIVATE USER acct.w/3,013 bids new user past 30 days, member since 02,WOW does this member stay up 24 hrs a day and bid, yet has minimal f/b?Strange coincidence,I guess the phantom bidder just found 28 items I did at the same time? But you know,eBay is always trying real hard to make the 'BUYING'and "selling" experience fair and convenient, the feedback system, the bidder history, etc. For whom?Everything is a hidden secret because when you lie,cheat,steal...you have a lot to hide.I am very angry my rights and personal searches were violated!WARNING TO ALL DO NOT INSTALL "SPYWARE"!!!!!!!!!!!!

UI is slow, uninstalling program crashed leaving entries in IE toolbar list.

Didn't work for me at all because can't sign-in, leaving the search bar only useful tool.

The account protection feature warns you if you enter ebay password to non-ebay site. Too bad it even warns you when you try to log on to eBay!

Tray-icon can't be closed unless you use Task Manager.

Feels like a badly-programmed application to me.

The buttobs work and give meaningful information. I think this will be a useful tool to a five-year eBayer.

Doesn't look like spyware to me, and referencing a 5 month old webpage doesn't really help your case any. Overall, I liked it. Saves me from having to bookmark 5 million eBay pages and includes a quick eBay search function (very neccessary for die-hard eBayers). All functions that I had the ability to test (I don't use a proxy so I don't know if it works or not when used with a proxy) worked fine.

None (and I mean NONE) of the buttons work on this useless piece of crap.
