kX Project Audio Driver is an independent WDM driver for all EMU10K1/2-based soundcards manufactured by Creative and/or E-mu Systems Inc., including the SoundBlaster Live! series, the E-mu Audio Production Studio (APS) card, and the Audigy series of cards.

    - Fixed a bug in ASIO code introduced in 3545 - ASIO should work fine now

    - ASIO buffers are now allocated below 2Gb boundary - this should fix ASIO for computers with >2Gb of RAM, but WinMM/DSound will not work still

    - Fixed multichannel playback on Vista and XP, on Vista SP1 all audio devices (master, 2/3, 4/5, 6/7, spdif) should work fine now

    This is like the best alternative out there for creative drivers if you're after sound quality and not EAX and stuff.
    Even though it is complicated - but there are tons of presets available for download. Great thing.
