Computer professionals know that opening a few windows will quickly clutter your screen, so many of them use more than one screen. Having multiDesk is like having multiple screens on your computer, without the radiation overload. With multiDesk, you can organize your opened windows into different virtual screens, and you can switch between them quickly using the keyboard or the mouse. multiDesk focuses on two most important features: speed and size. Switching between desktops is fast, and it takes minimal real estate (appears as a taskbar icon).
- Supports icq and office shortcut bar
- Only takes up one taskbar icon
- More consistent design

Great little app! Customizable just enough for hotkeys, toolbar buttons etc.

Finally, a virtual desktop that does not take up half my screen. You would wonder why nobody else can figure out what the users really want ... (hello, earth calling MS)

Oh gee, another linux zealot. For your information "Redhat Linux" doesn't have anything to do with it. It's the window manager that handles this. Not "Redhat Linux." Here's a suggestion: try actually doing something once, before you comment on something you know nothing about.

seems like a useful porg. I find the hotkeys more useful than reaching for the mouse all the time to change desktops.
