I can't believe it crashed my computer during install. It's been months since that happened. That's shameful. Authors should try out their software on a few friends and relatives before they release it on the public as beta.

Give it 1 point for a nice GUI, 4 points off for being totally unfunctinal and unstable.

I gave this a try on my system (XP x64) and it ran fine.

It asked me if I wanted to restart so I as able to save my work (it gave me the option of restarting later).

It found quite a few problems but missed quite a few that CCleaner, Registry Mechanic, and TuneUp Utilities found after I ran them also.

Personally I would prefer that it miss a few than that it fixed (broke) something critical rendering my installation useless.

It's too bad that the other two reviewers had bad luck with this application. It worked fine for me.

All I can say for others who might wish to try nCleaner is that you are given the option to check the system changes that nCleaner is suggesting and you can uncheck any that seem questionable.

Remember all, this is a beta and as such there is no guarantee that it won't break something. That is why this site is called BetaNews. Good grief, many applications are released into the wild as having gone 'Gold" and even they can break your system.

I originally gave this app a '4' but I changed that to a '5' to reward the developers for having designed a pleasent UI. That is something that is often lacking even in finished products. Keep up the good work people.

Dont you people test this before releasing it?

First it restarted after install without even promting, which made me loose unsaved work!!!

After restart I tried opening it and all my msn contacts were gone, and desktop icons then it restarted again. Had to do system restore!!!

    After restart I UNINSTALLED it!
