Thanks Dude Boyz for saving me a lot of hassle. I'm using 266.58 with no problems. For that same reason, as well as smaller file size, I'm using the December ?25, ?2009 version of the Realtek audio driver. (Sorry, don't have version number because I repacked the installer.

I have been testing these drivers on a variety of chipsets under Windows 7 64 bit. Two mobile (425m and 580m) and two desktop (460 and 580) and have found that the 266.58 drivers simply work the most reliably.

Every version past that, even with the new MSI 3 Gigabyte GTX 580 that I had saved up for and finally gotten, seems to have stability issues.

285.62 WHQL and 285.79 Beta in particular have introduced some crashes in games not previously having problems.

They do have some interface improvements, such as for the scaling options, which are nice, so I have given it a 2 instead of a 1, but sadly, the drivers still do not seem to be able to force 1:1 scaling in all modes on all monitors. On a SyncMaster 305t, 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x720, 1280x768 and 1280x800 resolutions all stretch full screen regardless of the setting in the driver. Thankfully, 1920x1080 does not, so the game plays / looks normal when playing and recording for YouTube upload with Fraps. 1280x720 looks pretty pixelated when stretched all the way to edges of a 30 inch LCD.

My recommendation is to stick with 266.58 unless you have a specific need to go higher (newer, unsupported card for example).

Hope that helps someone out there. :)

In the code box it has 32 and 64 as well as the 7 & vista links separate.

Works fine for me but I only install the driver and the physx stuff. The 3d nonsense and the updater I leave unchecked.
My next card will be an ati. The one I use now is the first nvidia I've ever bought and will probably be the last.

257.21, lowered my performance on win7 x64....so went back to 197.45.

Nvidia suprised me by releasing this!
