Installed it in XP SP3 and crashed the system, i had to restore it. I have an 8600GT card.

These latest drivers force Windows to 16:9 mode on my 24" Westinghouse L2410NM monitor. The only 16:10 resolutions it will let me use for ANYTHING are 720x480 and 1920x1200. No matter how I set the scaling and no matter how I try to force other 16:10 resolutions, it's stuck in 16:9 mode with black bars at the top and bottom. All older driver revisions work fine. Nvidia seems to have screwed up something fundamental with the changes to display handling, at least for my hardware config.

174.74 worked fine with my 7950GT bob. This release seems fine on SP3 with the 9800GTX. I'll test Vista shortly.

This driver kills WinXP(sp3) after a few minutes... at least at my computer. The older 169.21 worked fine and never had any problems with my 7600GT. Try again nVidia.

Bobb****in: you're better off sticking with the 90 series for the 6800GT. On my 6200 i only get heating issues with anything newer than 93.** or 94.**. not exactly a unified driver.
