These drivers provide optimized hardware acceleration of OpenGL applications via a direct-rendering X Server and support nearly all NVIDIA graphics chips. TwinView, TV-Out and flat panel displays are also supported.

Works great, does exactly what it is supposed to do. Users of red hat and fedora should not use this, you should install from the rpm in the livna repository because this will break a lot of stuff in Redhat and Fedora, trust me.

can and will install without a problem on the 2.6.11.1 and 2.6.11.2 kernel. Wasn't hard to install, but a linux newbie really should read the instructions. I gotta give it a 5 since no other driver had support for the 2.6 kernel.

It still has NO support for 2.6 kernel, so you still have to patch from minion.de in order to use on 2.6. The other problemis, there seems to be a bug with via chipsets and this version of the drivers as users of via chipsets are reporting framerates as low as 4fps!
