poedIRC is an advanced IRC client capable of connecting to almost any IRC network. It supports all the standard IRC features such as Channels, Private Messages, DCC, CTCP, etc. But also has several extra features, like whenever your nickname is said in a channel it is highlighted, or if you are in another channel it is displayed on the screen with the channel it came from highlighted.

Latest Changes:

• Fixed problem where selecting text and moving the mouse to the status bar crashes the app (FS#5)
• Fixed problem where some quit messages were not working properly (FS#21)

Very beautifull and simple irc client with nice options. (as mentioned you can configure all in the program itself, no need for ini edit). Nice progam. Would love to see a .net version also. Thanks for this program Poedsoft!

The colours are configurable by a GUI, as are all of the other options. The INI file is never supposed to be touched by the end user. In the menu there is Tools -> Options

It's a nice little client, not a lot to it. Configurable by an INI file and some configuration with a gui. Not alot to it though. I give it a 4 because there is some room for improvement, and the colors should be configured within the gui, not by an undocumented setting in the ini file.
