urlybird sits patiently in the System Tray and monitors the Clipboard. Whenever new text is sent to the Clipboard, it checks it, pecks out the URLs and holds them aside. You don't have to issue any great care in highlighting the URL, just swipe past it with your mouse - it will be parsed out, trimmed up and presented in a confirmation dialog for your approval. You can even highlight and copy multiple URLs at a time. For that URL you saw in the magazine, a manual entry is available too, from the System Tray - so that you don't have to start up another application such as notepad just for the sake of typing and copying to the Clipboard.
