Ofcourse! it can convert to MPEG there is an icon at the bottom RH corner. Sometimes I like to D/L a funny video from the you tube and it does it as it says. Nice program.

Works great as a downloader, although not quite as convenient as others that have browser integration. However I didn't have any luck getting it to convert videos to different formats, which was my only reason for trying it out.
