Not everyone who complains of stability problems is a "nitwit". On the contrary, the person who thinks there cannot possibly BE stability issues earns that designation. I have used ZoneAlarm Pro for years, including all the most recent versions of 4.5. Everything was perfectly fine, until I installed this update. Once I did, and rebooted, ZoneAlarm Pro froze up, some applications froze up, and I couldn't even shut down without doing a hard reset. Something is "not quite right" with this release of ZoneAlarm Pro.

So let me get this straight, Nila; I can replace Media Center with the 3,000 applications you list? Cool! What utility do I use to tame my gigantic new Start Menu? LOL. I do agree with some of your comments regarding the J. River forum, but that is neither here nor there; where a review of the actual *software* is concerned, I must assert that Media Center is now *better* than EAC for ripping, and that it is dead reliable for burning and the other functions I use it for. It is pretty heavy though, and I hate the "skin only" mode they forced upon us a version ago. But you rate based on a grudge, not your honest opinion. You had a falling out with Jim, but if the software was all that awful, why did you hang around so very long in the first place?

Yep, just tell them to install this program, get the IP, set a password, and you are working on their computer in real time--and also totally unencrypted and insecure. Oh, of course you can use OpenSSH. That's a real hoot to get the user to set up.

A slow, buggy, extremely clunky Java interface, which behaves in a non-standard fashion of course (just try using Ctrl/Shift to select search results). Slow load times. Terrible search results. Seeming inability to actually DOWNLOAD anything. A stupid "Shopping" tab, curiously placed right next to the "Library" tab. The piece of junk lets you select a nonexistent download directory, but doesn't automatically create it (nor prompt you to create it--it just throws an error, "Could not move to library"). Incessant nagging to shell out $19 for the "pro" version (very reminiscent of that annoying QuickTime garbage). The "uninstaller" leaves several directories on disk, and a ton of registry entries (most of which are due to the installer itself, though). No thanks; this sucks to the extreme. LimeWire 4.0 is a complete turd.

The comment by slimshady165000 is strange... If you have a car that breaks down over and over, wouldn't you "badmouth" it? But could you make a better car? Is the point clear?
