Now that's something that everybody should do.

  2. Comment - Office 2000: UA Control Vulnerability

Since There's no better place to put it, I'll stick it right here.
I don't like how the pages here now automatically refresh (to get a new ad on the screen).
Now it's a b**** when I want to use the back button, because I may have to press it 1, 2, or 3+ times to get back to the main page.
It didn't used to be like this. Change it back! Your audience is going to see 2 new adds (1 top, 1 bottom) every time they switch pages and that's enough!
By the way, I'm using MSIE 5.01. Maybe netscape does things differently.

  3. Comment - Press Release: eFront Media, Inc., Launches As Global Internet Media Company

    (Mar 12, 2000 - 1:35 PM)

OK, _not_ cool! Apparently efront is now censoring these discussions. Why? I did not cuss. I did not say anything offending. I only mentioned a new website that was started up by one of the original betanews staff because it is more like the "old betanews" that many people prefer. This was a 100% relevant reply to one of the posts below.

If your scared to lose your audience, improve your produce with the feedback that they give you. Don't try to shut them up because it will just hurt you. Especially if you delete this post. Your audience will be looking for this post and will start complaining if they see it missing.

That's great and all but what does it have to do with beta news????

  5. Comment - MyWebOS.com Launches Web Based OS

The minor mention of SLOW was needed to be underlined. If it's intended to be used by the general public, then a T1 or LAN shouldn't be required. Maybe their servers were busy but it was way to slow to be acceptable. Yeah, cool concept, but that's about it. Why run a second slower instance of Win 98 in Win98, instead of just running Win 98? It's got possibilites but not for the realworld anytime soon.
