    What can I say, we're all suckers for hype. Cry out the loudest and spend the most cash and the mainstream media will come like flies to honey. If the columbian drug lords spent a huge chunk of their profits on PR we would all think that cocain is good for our health.

    If the executives at Netscape actually used their brains they could have thought about including a combo box to choose the original service the user subscribed to (AOL/WebMail/CServe). They probably never bothered to check just how many users they were going to affect, or they have that "what's half a million users pissed off when we have 20 million plus users combined?"
