  1. Review - ZoneAlarm Free

    10.1.065.000 (Dec 9, 2011)

Just replaced ZoneAlarm with Comodo. System responsiveness seems to have improved.

  2. Review - FreeBSD

    8.0 RC2 (Oct 28, 2009)

Vista a good desktop OS, yeah good one. Haven't used Windows 7 yet, but if it sucks anything like Vista then it will be worth avoiding.

  3. Review - Mozilla Firefox for Windows

    3.5 Beta 4 (Apr 29, 2009)

The best by a long shot, plugins or not. As per plugins not working when upgrading, you can't blame the browser just because no one has updated the plugins to work with newer versions of firefox.

  4. Review - Mozilla Firefox for Linux

  6. Comment - Snip, snip, snip: Three undersea cables cut

    3.5 Beta 4 (Dec 20, 2008 - 6:09 PM)

We'd need to cut off China, Russia and North America for that to happen.

  7. Comment - OpenOffice.org: There's No Virus

    3.5 Beta 4 (Jun 3, 2006 - 6:01 AM)

The purpose of a macro is for a user to simplify a number of steps into one action. It is up to the user to decide what those steps are. There are great many different needs out there. Some users may desire the destruction of files after other steps (such as the file having been printed/emailed/displayed) have been taken.

  8. Comment - IE Flaws Focus of April Patch Tuesday

    3.5 Beta 4 (Apr 12, 2006 - 3:39 PM)

135 days on average for MS to fix security faults in IE. 21 or 27 (can't remember which one) days on average for Mozilla to fix security faults in its' browsers. The solutions is simple, don't use IE for anything other than Windows Update. Use Firefox for everything else (You can now even open up IE within a Firefox Tab, see http://ietab.mozdev.org/ for details).

  10. Comment - Award Claim Sparks Firefox, Opera Clash

    3.5 Beta 4 (Jun 12, 2005 - 3:23 PM)

To say Opera has had ZERO vulnerabilities is absurd. Just because non have been brought to public light it does not mean they do not exist. There may very well be people who know of vulnerabilities in Opera who have not made such knowledge public. To me the real test of security is in how long it takes for the vulnerability to be patched once it is discovered (which in the case of Firefox is a very short period of time).
