   Review - Microsoft Hyper-V Server R2

   1.0 (Aug 28, 2009)

   This is the only free version of Windows Server 2008 out there. It even includes the .Net Framework (core version).
   
   Keep in mind it is only x64 (Which is not a problem for todays procs)

   I like many others could care less about iPad and this stream of news that has been at the top of my iGoogle page needs to go. If I wanted this much Apple news, I would visit one of those Apple fan sites.

   "If Apple had a monopoly then it would not matter how good Microsoft products were, Apple would have control of the market so they could stop them entering."
   
   WTF are you talking about? They do have a monopoly on what and how you buy your applications on the iPhone.
   
   If Microsoft said they had to approve every application (and deny ones that they don't care for) for Windows you would Freak out and scream bloody murder.

   It amazes me that Apple fans are willing to overpay so much that numbers like this become a reality. Apple charges a premium for everything. And they are asking for high percentages of everything sold on iTunes and such. The only winner here is Apple. Trust me, you are just a number to them. You think Microsoft is evil? I wish you could see an Apple only world.

   @Joe, I'm kind of lost as to how your would have thought this would be an acceptable replacement for a Macbook or even a Netbook for your wife.
   
   The "I need this because this broke" logic always fails. You end up being disappointed every time. It's funny how people always try this out on the spouse.
   
   You knew fully that the iPad was not for you (and most of the people who have bought it already). The other people who amaze me is the ones who let their 4 year olds play with a ~$400 toy. People have some stupid money to throw around.
