  1. Comment - It's here: Internet Explorer 9 beta

    (Sep 17, 2010 - 12:11 PM)

IE stinks but at least now they are trying to improve things .
IE9 is a very good product.
I would say IE is back in the race.

  2. Comment - Can IE9 bring back Microsoft's glory days?

    (Sep 16, 2010 - 6:29 PM)

Well IE9 Looks like a good browser at this moment .
Hopefully the final product will be much better.
Right now this browser looks at par with Fireox on speed and other parameter.
(exclude GPU accelaration) IE9 does well on the HTML tests.
Well i only did the tests on the IE 9 testdrive site ad IE9 was good compared to FF, Opera as well as chrome for the
Performance tests such as speed reading IE9 blew them over.
But in the HTML5 section Chrome was still much better.

I also carried out sunspider tests on all the browsers
and i dont remember the exact values but
will post them when i have the exact values .

In general browsing didn't find it very fast but notable improvement over IE8
has a long way to go in the UI ,
    Its not customizable yet.
Cant find Page Zooming in this ctrl + scrl up is not working.
some bugs here and there .
Still will prefer to stay with FF though . (Till Microsoft carries out UI tweaks )

So the Add ons were boosting the ram values...
